My Story
Hello, my name is Maria, and I'm a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP).
I understand the feelings of frustration over your health more than you might think. Years ago, I had an emergency appendectomy that left me with ongoing digestive complications. Something felt off in my body, but no one could explain why. Over time, I was repeatedly told the same thing: “You’re fine.” But I didn’t feel fine. I felt bloated, uncomfortable, and disconnected from my body, and I knew there had to be a deeper reason for what I was experiencing.
So I started searching for answers. I read books. I listened to podcasts. I experimented with nutrition and lifestyle changes. But the real turning point came when I enrolled in the program to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Suddenly, everything started to make sense. I began to understand how things like digestion, nutrition, stress, sleep, blood sugar regulation, and hormone signaling are deeply connected. It was a true lightbulb moment.
For the first time, I realized something incredibly important: Symptoms are rarely random and they often have root causes.
Why I Do This Work
As I began applying what I learned, I started feeling more connected to my body again and I realized something else. There were so many women around me experiencing similar struggles—especially during midlife.
Women who felt:
-
Unheard and dismissed.
-
Confused about what their bodies were doing.
-
Many of them believed they were struggling simply because they were too busy to take care of themselves properly.
-
They blamed themselves for symptoms they didn’t fully understand.
That’s why I created Food and Foundations and the Resilient Reset program. My goal is to help women understand what their bodies may be asking for during this stage of life and provide thoughtful guidance so they can support their health with confidence.

A Simple Path Forward
Supporting your body during this season of life doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Inside the Resilient Reset Program, we focus on three foundational steps:
1. Understand What Your Body Is Telling You
Through thoughtful assessments and conversations, we explore your health history, nutrition habits, digestion, stress, and sleep patterns. This helps uncover patterns that may be contributing to how you’re feeling.
2. Support the Foundations of Your Health
Together we focus on areas that strongly influence well-being during midlife, including:
-
Nutrient-dense nutrition
-
Digestion
-
Blood sugar balance
-
Stress resilience
-
Restorative sleep
These foundational systems influence how your body feels and functions every day.
3. Build Sustainable Habits
Rather than restrictive diets or complicated protocols, we work on realistic adjustments that fit your life. Small shifts can create meaningful changes over time.
